Northville Montessori Center's temporary home for the year is at Ladywood High School.
Help the school rebuild by donating so that we can buy classroom materials and rent temporary space in light of this devastating disaster.
Northville Montessori Center was established by Lynn Gall in 1976. We are a state-licensed, self-sufficient private school, offering an alternative in preschool and elementary programs.
Originally, we leased empty classroom space in the Northville Public Schools. Our first class began with 12 students. By the end of that school year, we had increased to 25 students. Each year thereafter, we have enjoyed the privilege of serving students and their parents as space has allowed. Today, typical enrollment stands between 80 and 90 students: a number which ensures a quality education as well as an excellent staff. Our present site was purchased in 1981, and we began classes here in January, 1982. The campus is 5.3 acres in size, offering a large playground and a nature trail through our woods. It is conveniently located near I-275, where Livonia, Plymouth, and Northville meet.
The school is headed by Keith Gall, who is responsible for the day-to-day operations.
